Number rental
A rental is a number leased for a fixed window, from hours to months, that keeps receiving messages for the whole period.
In detail
The line is blocked at the operator for the length of the window, which is why it costs more than an activation and why it is charged once at the start rather than per message. Scope is fixed when the rental begins: one service, or every sender at roughly 85 % more. Rent when the account has to survive a later check, such as an exchange withdrawal or a messenger login from a new device.
