That means the operator range is flagged for that specific service. Cancel the activation — you are refunded — and buy again: you will get a different range. If a whole country keeps failing for a service, its success-rate badge on the pricing page will already show it; pick a country above 85 %.

Not with a one-time activation: the number returns to the pool afterwards. If you need the same number for repeat logins, use a rental — from four hours to twelve months, with unlimited SMS from the chosen service.

Enable multi-SMS before buying, and the activation stays open for additional messages from the same service until the window closes. Each extra message is billed at 30 % of the base price. Rentals include unlimited messages.

For selected countries in rental mode, incoming calls are transcribed and delivered as text. One-time activations are SMS only. Outbound calls and outbound SMS are not offered at all.

Yes, on every account, at no extra cost, from the first euro of balance. Create a key in the dashboard, send it as a bearer token, and you have the same capabilities the web interface uses.

If they speak the classic handler_api.php protocol, point them at our compatibility endpoint and change the api_key. Action names, parameter names and the ACCESS_/STATUS_ response tokens are all preserved. Most migrations are a one-line change.

That is a supported use case. We publish an OpenAPI 3.1 document, an llms.txt index, and a hosted MCP server, so agent frameworks can discover the tools and call them with scoped keys. Give the agent a key limited to numbers:read and numbers:write and it can complete verification flows on its own.

120 requests per minute per key with a 20-per-second burst. Limits are exposed in the X-RateLimit-* headers. If you are polling for codes, use the long-poll parameter or webhooks instead of tight loops — it is cheaper for both of us and support will raise your limits once you do.

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt at cost 12, sessions are httpOnly cookies bound to a rotating token, and TOTP two-factor is available with single-use recovery codes. API keys are stored as hashes, can be scoped and can be pinned to an IP range.

Yes, from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, keys, webhooks and history. Any remaining balance is forfeited on deletion, so spend it or request a referral payout first.

Receiving an SMS on a number you legitimately rent is legal in the vast majority of jurisdictions, and the service is widely used for QA, market research, ad verification and managing multiple legitimate business accounts. What is not legal — and what our terms forbid — is using a number to impersonate someone, commit fraud, evade a ban imposed for abuse, or send spam. We act on operator abuse reports and close accounts that do that.

Message bodies are retained for 30 days so you can audit an activation, then permanently deleted. You can wipe an individual activation's messages from the dashboard at any time before that. We never sell message content and we do not use it for anything except delivering it to you.
