Every sender that texts the number reaches your dashboard and the API. It blocks a whole line at the operator, which is why it costs roughly 85 % more than the same window scoped to a single service.
What a rental does not do
- Nothing outbound. You cannot send SMS or place calls from a rented number.
- The number is not portable — it cannot be moved to your own SIM or carrier account.
- Incoming voice is transcribed to text in selected countries only. Elsewhere the line is SMS-only.
- Auto-renew charges the same price six hours before expiry and stops silently if the balance is short, so keep a buffer.
- When the window ends the number returns to the operator pool. We cannot promise the same one again.
- Some operator ranges are already refused by a given service. If the first line fails, cancel inside the refund window and rent again.
Common questions
Not with a one-time activation: the number returns to the pool afterwards. If you need the same number for repeat logins, use a rental — from four hours to twelve months, with unlimited SMS from the chosen service.
For selected countries in rental mode, incoming calls are transcribed and delivered as text. One-time activations are SMS only. Outbound calls and outbound SMS are not offered at all.
Enable multi-SMS before buying, and the activation stays open for additional messages from the same service until the window closes. Each extra message is billed at 30 % of the base price. Rentals include unlimited messages.
Automatically and in full whenever an activation ends without a code: no SMS in the window, the number turns out to be blocked by the service, or you cancel before any message arrives. The credit is on your balance within seconds. Balance itself is not withdrawable back to crypto except for referral earnings above €50 — see the refund policy.
